HOT GOSSIP: Last updated- 26/8/2010

Bikers4Macmillan have been formally recognised and registered as a fundraising Group for Macmillan Cancer Support - this is really good news for the founder members of the group as this means that we can go on to bigger and better things knowing we have the full support of Macmillan cancer Suport.

Whitby Fish and Chip run was excellent. 14 bikes, 16 people and the best day for it you could ask for! started from Humber Bridge and went through Malton to Pickering then over the North Yorkshire Moors to Goathland (Heartbeat Country) the heather was in full bloom and gave a superb purple glow to the scenery. On to Whitby which was packed ,due to being regatta weekend, so we had to bomb-burst the parking arrangements. All met up and went for a crackin' Whitby Fish and Chip lunch. Little bit later than we hoped for leaving so had to miss out Robinhood bay on the way back but managed to drop into Bridlington for a final brew before getting back to the Humber Bridge - a brilliant day and many thanks to all who were able to make it. Round trip from Sleaford was 258 miles!Loads of photos in the gallery - take a look while you're here!

The Sunset to Sunrise Registration page is now OPEN for the 2011 ride.
When you register you have two options, Rider only for £10 or Rider and Pillion for £15 and payment can be by credit or debit card through the 'paypal' button. For those that don't like using online paymanet you can still send cheques to me at the address given on the registration page.

The latest committee meeting minutes have been uploaded - take a look and see what the plans are for celebrating 100years of Macmillan Cancer Support!

27/7/10:
Today I hand over a cheque for the sum of £1,250.00 to Macmillan Cancer Support - an excellent amount of money raised through our annual Sunset to Sunrise Tour - well done to all who took part.

2011 sees Macmillan Cancer Support celebrating 100 years! So we thought we'd organise a party! Details are sketchy at the moment - we know what we're doing but just not when or where yet! It will be in the summer and somewhere around South lincolnshire.
Keep an eye on the events page for more details - this will be a limited ticket event, with overnight camping, food, the odd glass of lemonade and live bands.

There is a new 'files' page on the site: From here you will be able to download; minutes of the Committee Meetings; Routes to from and for events; press releases, etc. the page can be found be going to: http://www.bikers4macmillan.org.uk/files.aspx
